Spinach Lover's Garden Under Snow

You can barely make out the ridges of snow over the rows of cloches that are protecting the spinach. The gardener probably did not expect such a heavy snowfall to occur and to remain for so many weeks in Vancouver. Typically there is rain in December. Let's hope that the spinach survives! Very interesting to compare photos of the same plot in different seasons/weather. It would be nice to see it in full bloom one day (I can't wait for Spring).

I'm weary of winter already too...but snow is beginning to melt today.

Nothing winters over in Indiana except the evergreen trees! We have a long winter ahead of us. Yesterday we had ice agian but not as bad as when you were in Ohio - thank goodness. Stay warm!
